About Me
Meet Dyanna, your spiritual coach specializing in religious recovery
Hi there, I’m Dyanna, a Spiritual Recovery Coach living in the Pacific Northwest. I assist spiritual seekers in unraveling from the beliefs of their past so they can move forward in authenticity and wholeness. I have assisted people from many religious backgrounds including many forms of Christianity, Mormonism, and Jehovahs Witnesses.
A little about my own spiritual background:
I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness until the age of 19. After an unnecessarily sheltered, strict, and stifling childhood I left my family and religious community behind at the age of 19, and started over.
Homeless, without any support, I jumped into the next part of my life out of fear and necessity, and chose Christianity. After another 15 years of struggling to satiate my desire for spiritual healing and community, but coming up empty handed, I decided to take my life into my own hands, and step away from organized religion.
I knew I needed a new approach to my spiritual life, and I decided to seek out the parts of life that spoke directly to my spirit, in hopes of finding some kind of healing. I’d always felt drawn to the elements of the earth and inspired by nature, so that’s where I started. On this healing journey I stumbled upon many familiar tools that I still use to support me, like yoga and meditation. But, when I found Tarot, I knew I had found what I was searching for all along. The clarity, guidance, and intuitive support that is written in the symbology of the cards brought me to a place of healing for the first time in my life. I could connect to my inner spirit in a way that nurtured me, instead of stripping me down. I began doing Shadow Work – the inner process integrating what I found unacceptable about myself – and took many beautiful courses on “Soul Tarot” by Lindsay Mack.
As a spiritual coach who teaches through tarot, I understand the approach can seem unconventional- since many that were raised in church culture were taught to avoid the use of divination. However, I have found the common reputation tarot holds typically shifts drastically after having a personal experience. This isn’t the tarot you’ve seen on TV. All of my offerings come from one specific value that I find speaks to every human experience: “Know thyself”. This is your life, and even if you aren’t seeking recovery, this value is essential for your spirit.
As your Spiritual recovery coach I base the guidance I provide on the following values:
- Empowerment: using tarot, I prioritize empowering my clients by helping them tap into their own inner wisdom and guiding them towards making empowered decisions in their lives.
- Compassion and Non-judgment: You don’t need to hear more opinions on what you “should be doing”. I approach my clients with compassion and an open mind, creating a safe space to explore your concerns without judgment or criticism.
- Intuition and Spiritual Connection: Tarot readers often emphasize the development of intuition and the cultivation of a deep spiritual connection. I encourage clients to trust their own intuition and seek guidance from their chosen spiritual beliefs or higher power.
- Personal Growth and Transformation: part of what I do is assist you in gaining insights, identifying patterns, finding your voice, and making positive changes in your life to foster personal development.
- Authenticity and Honesty: My passion is to deliver readings and guidance in a truthful and genuine manner, for your present needs, while encouraging you to embrace your own truth.
- Mindfulness and Presence: Cultivating mindfulness practices to enhance your awareness and connection to the present moment is vital during rehabilitation of any kind, and I will guide you to connect with yourself throughout our work together.
- Ethics and Boundaries: Maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients is essential to the work I do. Client confidentiality is observed in all sessions to ensure that your services are offered in an ethical and professional manner.
The language of tarot is a language of healing, and I want to share that language with you. Whoever you are and wherever you come from.
